seated on a mound, a yellow gourd slung over his shoulder minor damage
Condition
There is a section at the front of the figure extending around his horizontally folded leg and down to the rim which appears, from examining the interior, to have been filled. It's possible the section was broken out and restored back in position, or more probably given the lack of damage visible to the exterior, there may have been an extended firing crack which has been in filled. At the point where the crack meets the footrim on the left there is a triangular shallow discoloured chip, 5mm wide at its widest point on the rim. Firing cracks to the interior. There is a little minor rubbing to the enamels and scratching to the glaze.
