- interlaced Ls enclosing dateletter L for 1764, painter's mark of a scrolling N for François-Joseph Aloncle, saucer with incised reversed S, Wilfrid Evill Collection Label

decorated with a turquoise bleu céleste ground gilded with an oeil de perdrix pattern reserved with exotic birds in landscapes painted by Aloncle, slight wear

Purchased from H.E. Backer Antiques, 19th February 1947 for £20.
Condition
The gilded pattern covering the ground and the gilded rims have some wear and minor losses. There are some fine scratches to the glaze in the background of the enamelled landscapes on both pieces.
