Condition

The sheet has been laid down. There appear to be one or two minor abrasions to the cow in the centre of the composition. There are some handling and media marks to the edges and the surface is slightly discoloured; otherwise the work appears in good original condition. Held in a simple black painted wood frame with a cream mount under glass. Please telephone the department on 0207 293 6424 if you have any questions about the present work.

The present work was drawn for A Chatto & Windus Almanac and relates to Cows at Cookham (1936), which is in the collection of the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford.
