Condition

The mount has been attached to another mount upon the back of which is a pencil and wash drawing of a landscape by Elliott S. Eabrooke, dated 1911. The following condition report has been compiled by Jane McAusland FIIC, Conservator and Restorer of Art on Paper: Support This drawing is on a wove sheet hinged into an open mount. There are undulations in the sheet, which indicates it is not laid down and it is slightly cut on the right in places. The lower left corner is added and there is a crease on the right edge and slight time staining to the sheet. Medium The medium is to some extent faded. However the staining in the sheet makes it look a little paler than it probably is. Note: This drawing was viewed behind glass and outside studio conditions.
