Condition
The sheet is sound and is not laid down, but has been adhered in places along the edges.
There is a small V shaped tear to the centre of the composition, and there is some scuffing in the lower left quadrant and other areas of unevenness across the surface, all of which appears to be inherent to the work. There is a pinhole upper centre. There are a few small spots of lifting paint and small flecks of paint loss to the red sky and to an area lower centre.
Held under glass in a gilt plaster frame with a green mount.
