The rectangular case composed of reeded yellow gold, accented by bands of calibré-cut sapphires, the sides composed of brushed white gold, gross weight approximately 163 dwts., measuring approximately 4 by 3 by 5/8 inches, signed Tiffany, Italy. With signed pouch.
Condition
The sapphires are a medium blue, lively and fairly well matched. A few stones have scratches and one has a crack visible under magnification but they are mostly in very good shape. There is some tarnish to the gold on the interior. There is no thumbpiece, the box opens by pushing the panel along the front of the box and lifting the hinged. The Tiffany signature appears on the inside rim of the lid.
