Catalogue Note
This pattern is the same used by Jean-Baptiste-Claude Odiot for the Stephanie de Beauharnais Service, 1821-24. Most of the service was sold Sotheby's, New York, 6 November 2008, lot 107 (flatware). Part of the flatware service had been extended by Christian Friedrich Diemling of Karlsruhle and another maker.
