Condition
This work is in good condition overall. The surface consists of multiple layers of heavy paint application, particularly in the very thick white pigment. There are also scattered evidence of fine craquelure present in the heavily impastoed areas with a few associated losses. Generally, the craquelure has been stabilized. Under ultraviolet light, there are some areas of inpainting which fluoresce darkly; these are located around the extreme edges of the canvas and some scattered within the work, most notably in the area near the upper left corner. There are also a few scattered areas that fluoresce brightly. Framed.
