Condition

This work is in good condition overall. The canvas has been relined and the surface of the painting has been varnished. Under ultraviolet light inspection, there are scattered areas of inpainting near the lower edge. The figure's chest presents an area of craquelure which has been stabilized and which fluoresces darkly under UV light. Framed.
