Condition

Pile generally near original 1/8th of an inch in colors, dark browns oxidized to knotheads and spot foundation. Scattered small areas of foldware, also low to knotheads. Some madder reds also oxidized to knotheads. Right side with original end of selvages. Upper end of field generally in better pile than lower end; minor repiling in very center diamond, and scattered repiling to dark browns. Partially rewoven outer side guard stripes and reselvaged. Partial dark browns, outer end guard stripes, ends now secured with binding stitch. Flexible handle, soft lustrous wool and good variety of color. Good overall condition.
