Condition

Pile generally good, approximately 1/8in. throughout with a few scattered area of oxidized browns low to knothead and minor spot foundation. Some minot foldwear area with pile low to spot foundation in upper right corner. Very small rewoven hole in upper right corner, minor reweave in lower right corner. Small, partially restitched slits in upper left corner. Rewoven outer guard strip in upper right and left corners: approximately 3in in lenght. Some losses and abrasions to selvages with the larges loss being approximately 3in. in length on left side. Lower end with flatwoven finish folded under and sewn, upper end with original flatwoven finish, now with abrasions, oxidation and losses at ends, now secured with binding stitch. Supple handle, lustrous wool, good overall condition.
