Condition

Pile ranges from approx. 1/8th of an in, closely sheared to low to knotheads in areas of scattered fold wear. Scattered visible warp ties, small fold wear hole in left side of medallion, surrounding area slightly dry. Sides slightly curling under in areas of density due to weave. Sides with original two cord cotton selvages, now with some losses, abrasions and fraying. Upper end with small slit, now fraying. Both ends secured with blanket stitch. Supple handle, fine weave, detailed design, good quality. Will enhance with minor restoration.
