Condition
Pile ranges from approximately 1/10 inch to low to knotheads in most of rug due to wear and foldwear; 7 x 3 inch reweave in upper end of field; smaller scattered reweaves---not extensive. Dark browns oxidized to knotheads and spot foundation. Some scattered repiling generally along ends.
Sides with remnants of original 8 cord blue wool selvages, now mostly redone and overcast.
Ends with original denim blue kilim finishes, some small reweaves to kilims.
Very flexible handle, sound fabric and condition.
