Pile ranges from 1/8 inch to low to knotheads in areas of oxidized browns and foldwear, some now repiled; further scattered repiled areas; small 2 x 2 inch reweave in upper end borders; 3 x 8 inch tapering reweave in lower right corner; small hole and restitching to lower left corner; further small scattered reweaves. Sides with losses and abrasions to selvages; and a 30 x 1/2-1 inch reweave to upper right side in outer guard borders. Lower end with remnants of original flatwoven end finish. Upper end with losses to outer guards. Both ends secured with blanket stitch. Hanging rings sewn to reverse of upper end. Supple handle, sound fabric and condition.
