Condition
Pile ranges from 1/6 inch to low to knotheads in areas of oxidation, wear and foldwear; 3 x 4 inch reweave in left side guard border; two small cobbled repaired holes in same area.
Sides later overcast.
Upper end with remnants of flatwoven end finish, now secured with a binding stitch.
Lower end with original flatwoven finish, some fraying and losses.
Supple handle, very lustrous wool, sound fabric and condition.
