To the naked eye: The painting is a overall good condition. It's painted on a very thin canvas laid down later on panel (one non cradled plank). It's under an extremely dirty and thick varnish. There are on the lower and right edges some traces of old nails. There is a small air bubble (above the white hat of the young woman) due to a defect when they laid down the canvas. Under UV lamp: The painting is under a green and thick varnish. There is some very slight retouching in the white het of the young woman.
