Condition

To the naked eye: The painting is in relatively good state of conservation. Under a dirty uniform varnish. It has been properly relined in the first half of the 20th century. There is a network of cracks with some flaking in the foliage. In the upper right page, in the sky there are some points of restoration. In the lower right corner there is a small lack at the right of the jug of the river god. Along the left edge, there are six restored lacks. Under UV lamp: The painting is under a green thick varnish which has been cleaned in the sky and on the characters. There are restorations in the lower left and right corner. Some retouching in the sky part on the right. One restoration in the foot of Syrinx.
