Un dessin très proche et un peu moins abouti est reproduit dans l'ouvrage de Dirk van Gelder, Rodolphe Bresdin, dessins et gravures, Paris, Editions du Chêne, 1976, planche 130. Ce dessin, également daté de 1882 est conservé au Fogg Art Museum de Cambridge (Mass.).
