Condition

To the naked eye: The painting is in overall good condition. It has been a bit strongly relined during the end of the 19th century- beginning of the 20th. There is a yellow number 44 painted on the lower right corner. Under UV lamp: Some traces of old green varnish. Some small restorations in the upper corners, in the red draperies, on the left shoulder. Some very slight retouching in the face and in the hand on the center.
