To the naked eye: The painting is in overall good condition. Painted on a thick and perfectly plane copper. The painting is under a very dirty varnish and it needs to be clean. There are some small traces of gilt along the edges, probably due to the gilt of an old frame. Under UV light: The painting is under a green thick and uniform varnish, we remark some restorations in the wall in the background, some small retouching in the red drapery of the Christ and in the lower right corner.
