Condition
This work is in good condition overall, with no cracks or warps. There is a spot of media accretion on the upper margin (near horizon, above a cow) and on the lower left edge and paint loss on the lower right. The paint layers are sound and stable otherwise. Under ultraviolet light inspection there is no evidence of restoration. There are gold-coloured areas on the paint surface which has a metallic sheen in reality but which is not expressed in the catalogue illustration.
