Condition

Some of the books with loose binding and creases and tears to some pages. Some of the covers are torn and loose. Some books with stray pen or pencil marks (some with handwritten notes) and some with staining and minor foxing. The World of Roerich book by Nina Selivanova has binding that has completely fallen apart and the cover is separated from the pages. The pages are loose. The book Travels to Inmost Asia lacks a dustjacket. The Corona Mundi Roerich book, 1924, has loose binding and the pages are stiff and warped with age. There are some minor stains. The Talachkino book, 1906, has binding that is broken and all the pages are loose and separated. The color and black and white plates and reproductions of Roerich paintings are varied in condition, but some are torn, with some stains and minor creases. Some of the newspaper articles herein are brittle, stained in line with age, folded, creased, torn and extremely fragile. The photographs are in relatively good condition, some with tears and creases or some minor staining. Slide of Master Moriya has some scratches. The pamphlets and museum catalogues each have some staining and minor foxing. Some of the catalogue covers are loose. Roerich Museum bulletins are bound in a three-ring binder which is missing its cover. The copy of the Second Report of the actions in Tibet is very brittle and almost torn into two separate pieces. It has a fold in the center, tape stains, and creases. Very fragile. The Christian Brinton catalogue has stains on the cover and the binding is loose. Shell-form dish in overall good condition. Minor dent near scroll foot. Two Silver Goblets in overall fine condition.
