of traditional form, enameled with colorful, scrolling foliage against a stippled gilt ground, with views of Ivan Martos's Monument to Minin and Pozharsky on Red Square and Alexander Opekushin's 1880 Monument to Alexander Pushkin painted en plein within arched frames, the hinged cover mounted with a ball finial and chair-back thumbpiece, the interior gilded, inside of cover with monogram and dedicatory date
