tapering and set on spreading foot, enameled with brightly colored cockerels amongst scrolling foliage against a stippled gilt ground, the sides centered with the armorials of the city of Yaroslavl and a second coat-of-arms with the cypher of Peter the Great and the Cross of the Order of St. John, the slip-on cover with ball finial
