of typical shape, decorated with bands of enameled scrolling vegetation alternating with rows of turquoise bead flowerheads set among white beads, the center band with the Russian Easter greeting "Christ is Risen" in pale blue cloisonné enamel against a navy blue ground, the top and bottom centering on flowerheads, the slip-on cover pulling off to reveal a gilded interior with circular aperture
