  • the underside with blue overglaze factory mark, dated 1921 and with green Imperial cypher of Alexander III dated 1893

after a design by the artist Rudolf Vilde, the cavetto painted with a red banner bearing the gilded inscription in Cyrillic "Victory of the Workers on October 25th" with the date 1917-1921 in gilt numbers above, below this are a crossed hammer and sickle above a wheat sheaf in ciselé and oxidized silver, the cobalt blue borders with scrolling gilt foliage and flowers and various agricultural and industrial tools (a hammer, a scythe, a gear, an axe, and pliers) in silver, now oxidized
