depicting in the upper part against a gold ground Christ within a mandorla flanked by two angels blowing a trumpet, within the lower part the Virgin standing on a rocky landscape, attended by two angels dressed in white directing the gaze of the disciples towards Christ
Condition
Loss of paint and levkas to the upper and lower border, some damage and loss of paint to the surface, some retouching all over the painting, a restored vertical split running through the panel on Christ's left side
