  • height including loop: 12.6cm, 5in.
the front applied with a chased figure of Christ within white and varicoloured pastes and an opal, the reverse engraved with an Imperial crown, struck Morozov and with workmaster's initials I.P (Cyrillic), 56 standard

Catalogue Note

According to Dr Ulla Tillander-Godenhielm (The Russian Imperial Award System, 1894-1917, 2005, p. 243), the Imperial Cabinet purchased 181 jewelled gold crosses from 1907 to 1916 from the jewellers Hahn, Ivanov, Blank, Morozov and Zheverzheev as awards for the clergy.
