A rare porcelain tea service, Imperial Porcelain Manufactory, period of Alexander II (1855-1881)

comprising: a samovar, a tea pot, a coffee pot, a bowl, a covered sugar bowl, a covered creamer and two cups and saucers; finely painted with sweet peas, samovar decorated with a bunch of field flowers on lilac ground, with green and blue Imperial ciphers of Alexander II

Samovar: the top section of the lid is lacking. Coffee pot: the spout is restored Tea pot: there are hairline cracks to the glaze to one side of the pot creamer: The finial of the cover has been broken and restored Bowl: hairline cracks to the glaze on the underside of the bowl Two cups: in good condition Saucer 1: there is a chip to the rim measuring approx. 6mm by 4mm. Hairlines cracks in 3 places along the border, and further hairline cracks to the glaze visible on the underside. Saucer 2: hairline cracks to the glaze visible on the underside. Overall, the set is in good condition with some minor wear to the gilding as expected with age.
