Description

after Carl Piratsky, the cavetto depicting 27th Infantry Division, the pale purple border painted with the Imperial eagle flanked by a wreath of oak and laurel leaves, gilt rim and foot, the reverse titled and signed in Cyrillic N. Krasovsky, dated 73, with green and blue Imperial ciphers for Alexander II   

Condition

The gilding is slightly rubbed in places especially along the rim of the cavetto, otherwise in good condition consistent with age.
