- Silver-gilt, enamel
- height: 38mm
of shield form, both sides enamelled in translucent red below a silver-gilt Imperial crown and ribbon surmount, the front centred with diamond-shaped initial of Paul I within a blue enamel band inscribed 'First Pavlovsk Military School', the corners with Imperial ciphers for Alexander II and Alexander III and commemorative inscription 'In Memory of 25th Anniversary', the sides set with four white enamel roundels dated 'XXV / 1888 / 1798 / 1863', the reverse with crossed blue and red enamelled epaulets, engraved 'K.A. Meller', with replaced suspension loop
Condition
Chips to enamelled corners and white roundels. Abrasion to enamel and metal surround on the reverse.
