star-shaped, below jewelled Imperial crown, the front centred with Coats of Arms of St. Petersburg and Kotlin on blue enamel ground, the opaque white corners with ciphers of Peter I, Alexander III and Alexander II and dated 1725, 1884, 1878, the reverse enamelled with a view of the ship within red translucent border inscribed 'St. Petersburg Maritime Canal' and named ' Matilda Ivanovna Vitte', 56 standard

The gems are missing. Enamel in very good condition.
