the surface of translucent oyster enamel over moiré engine-turning, the ends wrapped with chased leaf bands, the thumbpiece set with a cabochon sapphire, gilt interior, struck with workmaster's initials, 56 and 88 standards, scratched inventory number 17245

Condition

There is an enamel loss at upper left corner edge measuring approx. 5mm long and an area of tiny loss at right rear corner. Some surface scratches.
