Description

the circular bowl enamelled in translucent salmon pink over spiralling engine-turned waves below a plain rim border set with three cabochon sapphires, the handle of faux coral simulating a toucan's beak with cabochon garnet eyes, struck with workmaster's initials and K.FabergĂ© in Cyrillic beneath the Imperial Warrant, 88 standard, scratched inventory number 15376

Condition

There are two enamel losses to the side at the base, the largest of which is approx. 11mm x 8mm, with metal showing. Otherwise in good order, and an interesting object. The faux coral handle is possibly a replacement.
