the circular bowl carved of nephrite, its rim set with a cabochon ruby issuing the handle of opaque white enamel divided by gold reeds, the flared base enamelled in translucent red over wavy engine-turning within leaf chased two-colour gold collar and foot rim, struck with workmaster's initials and Fabergé in Cyrillic, 56 standard, scratched inventory number 5836, in original Fabergé wood case
Condition
The nephrite bowl and red enamel base in excellent condition. The handle with restorations to the enamel, and it has been re-attached.
