the cylindrical body and lid repoussé and chased with paeonies and swirling stems on gilt grounds, the thumbpiece and three ball feet cast with foliage, scroll handle, gilt interior

Condition

Very good condition consitent with age, and impressive. There are shallow dents, one at the side rim border, some at edge of base. Some minor nicks also, but nothing which detracts from a pleasing appearance.
