  • diameter: 22.5cm, 8 7/8 in.
circular, with gilt scalloped rims, one centre painted with cupids seated on a cloud holding a bow and arrow, the other with putti holding a sword and a helmet, the borders decorated with gilt and red trellis and scrollwork centring the crowned monogram of Grand Duke Alexander Alexandrovich, with blue Imperial ciphers for Alexander II, one plate with additional green Imperial cipher

Condition

There is minor wear to the gilding consistent with age.
