oval, the cavetto painted with six laurel swags and centered with a stylised gilt and purple cartouche depicting a black Imperial eagle with a wreath of victory in one claw and a flag depicting crossed anchors in the other, the border with stylised scrolling foliage and medallions, scalloped gilt and purple rim, with blue Imperial cipher for Catherine II
Condition
There wear to the painted and gilded decoration as expected with age ans use.
