Catalogue Note
The yacht "Foros" was named after the town in the Crimea where A.G. Kuznetsov had a large estate which he filled with various works of art. Kuznetsov was a very wealthy tea trader and also had a large porcelain factory famous for bright colors and high quality porcelain clay.
