the surface cast with sunburst reeding, the lid applied with enamelled gold and silver orders and medals including the Order of Nichan Iftikhar (Tunisia), First World War Combatant's Cross (France), Order of Aviz, Republican Issue (Portugal), International Red Cross Badge, Légion d'Honneur (France), Order of Osmanie (Turkey), and the Order of National Merit (France), cabochon sapphire thumbpiece, the end with vesta compartment, 56 standard

Condition

Very good condition, and good weight. Two of the applied badges with tiny enamel losses. Please note that the image for this lot has been mis-labelled as '549' in the printed catalogue (but is correct in the online catalogue).
