the links formed as ellipses of nephrite and rhodonite, each centred with a rose-cut diamond, gold chains, illegible marks, possibly overstruck, 56 standard, scratched inventory number 66472

Provenance

Purchased by the Cabinet of His Imperial Majesty for 33 roubles and given to the Emperor's brother, Grand Duke Michael Alexandrovich.  The invoice was paid on 17 November 1901.

Excellent condition.
