Description
- Gold, enamel, diamonds, wood, silk
- diameter of links: 1.3cm, 1/2 in.
comprising: a pair of cufflinks and three studs, all formed as discs with canted surfaces enamelled in translucent green over hatched engine-turning, divided by and bordered with rose-cut diamonds, struck with workmaster's initials, 56 standard, scratched inventory numbers 64913 (cufflinks) and 64914 (studs), in original Fabergé fitted wood case
Condition
Generally excellent condition, and a very handsome set. One link with one border diamond lacking. One stud is of a slightly lighter shade of green (this is visible in the catalogue photo) and is therefore presumably later enamelled.
It is extremely rare to find a set of studs and cufflinks together in their original Fabergé case.
