Thence by descent

Condition

Gouache on paper. Held in a black painted wood frame with matte and under glass. Unexamined out of frame. There are some spots of minor craquelure in areas of yellow pigment (in the chef's leg and arm) and white pigment (bottom of apron, chef's hat, top of body). The knife and ladle are collage pieces adhered to the original paper, and there is some creasing in both of these areas.
