Condition
Oil on board. The board is sound and the surface is covered in an opaque layer of varnish. There are a few stray flecks of dirt visible, particularly along the right edge, as well as a minor loss to the lowest branch of the tree at upper left. UV light reveals no retouches though the varnish prevents a conclusive analysis. Held in a modern wood frame. Unexamined out of frame.
