Condition
The original canvas has been strip-lined. The paint surface is fairly clean. There are lines of fairly heavy craquelure along the left hand edge of the work with further fine lines of craquelure elsewhere eg. the upper right hand quadrent. UV light reveals re-touching to the aforementione craquelure along the left hand edge and to the lower right hand corner, and there is extensive re-touching to the lower left hand corner surrounding and over part of the signature. Held in a painted wooden frame. Unexamined out of frame.
