Condition

The canvas has been strip-lined. The surface is a little dirty and covered with a light layer of varnish. There is a horizontal line of abrasion along the lower quadrant of the composition as well as horizontal lines near the top and bottom where the canvas has been strip-lined. There are very fine lines of craquelure to the upper right corner. UV light reveals no apparent signs of retouching. Held in a modern wooden frame. Unexamined out of frame.
