Condition
Original canvas. The paint surface is dirty and there is a layer of discoloured varnish. There is craquelure to the tip left hand quadrant of the composition, some possibly the result of an impact from the back of the canvas. The work would benefit from a surface clean by a professional restorer. UV light reveals no retouching. Held in a gold painted wooden frame. Unexamined out of frame.
