Very good overall condition; no repaint visible under UV light; the painting is on its original canvas. Under UV light some very minor repaints are visible in the head of the woman in the upper left hand corner.

Catalogue Note
Cruz-Herrera vécut longtemps au Maroc et est surtout connu pour ses thèmes marocains. Il effectuait néanmoins de fréquents séjours dans son pays natal, où il exposait régulièrement. Dans ses tableaux espagnols, il reste fidèle à ses thèmes de prédilection: la femme, les fêtes, les foules, toujours peintes dans des couleurs vives et chatoyantes.
