Together with four near matching chairs of later date. 8 pieces.

All eight with scattered age and construction cracks. 18th-centrury pieces with old wood worm, now resulting in losses to wood in scattered areas. Further scattered losses and abrasions to carving. Scattered breaks and restored breaks, some recarving, including some feet. Scattered losses to gesso. Paint and gilding with losses, rubbing and refreshed areas. Later chairs with losses and rubbing to paint and gilding and small scattered losses to gesso. Some old worm damage; not extensive. Some of the eight chairs with feet blocked. In sound condition.
