Condition

Overall good condition; the reverse-painted glass picture with some minor losses to paint around the trees and with a horizontal loss to the center of the picture on the white ground as can be seen in the catalogue illustration; vertical loss through the side of the central figure's face as seen in the catalogue illustration; otherwise does not appear to have been restored; old repaired breaks to the foliate carved cresting and apron with some small chips and losses to gesso and gilding in places; fresh chip to gilding to lower left corner of frame approximately 1 inch by 1/2 inch.
